Broke Traveler

Having been colonized for more than 300 years, Im one of the people who wish to be transported back in time, specifically, during the time the Philippines is under the governance of Spain. Las Casas, as it is commonly called, is an open-air museum and a heritage park located at Bagac, Bataan.
Its attractions are 22 mansions from 17th to the 19th century.

Some of them are replicas but most are originals collected from various part of the Philippines.

From the moment we entered the site, I told my boyfriend that I loved the place. The view of old houses plus seeing people walking around wearing Baro at Saya. The guards donned in Guardia Sibil uniform, the kalesa and hearing old music playing in the background gave me a goosebumps.

I must admire how the resort owners have scoured the archipelago for such decaying structures, disassembled them, and then reassembled them. Its a no-brainer that Las Casas is a place for picture taking. The scenery is beautiful, bound by distant mountains on one side, and the open sea in another.

(Antipolo, Rizal)

A lot has been said about Philippine Art scene lately. But the most interesting collections are found in private museums like this one, a sprawling estate in the Antipolo hillside. So worth the trip outside the madness of Manila.

Fell in love with all the artistic and creative pieces as soon as I entered Pinto Art Gallery.

Lost in the beauty of these paintings.

This place can bring back some blue memories, but swear I cant unlove this gallery! This is true love, I guess.

The aftermath of seizing every piece of art at the said magneficent museum. I swear Im coming back here!
